For a very dear client— actually, our very first client as a firm and for whom this is the 5th residence we have designed for him over a span of 20 years, we were thrilled to create this very special place of refuge and relaxation. He wanted a change— this time seeking a more fresh, modern and timeless design direction. The whole interior was reimagined— with new furnishings, lighting, and accessories and a full second floor remodel. We also proposed that the interior would be one with the surrounding landscape, seamlessly transitioning from inside to out. This included our creation of a year round enclosed private back porch that could be slid open in summer, but be enclosed in the colder months, and yet would reflect the beauty of the undulating pool hues while warming hands over the fire table. This vision inspired a comprehensive redesign of the front and back yards, culminating in a cohesive, inviting outdoor living experience that seamlessly blends beauty, comfort, and functionality.
